Untapped Linking Tactics
Untapped Linking Tactics
By Kim Roach (c) 2006
Links are the pathways by which all information on the Internet is connected. Whether you are traveling your preferred search engine or your favorite website, your paths are directed by the links you come in contact with.
Because of this, links have become the lifeblood of the Internet. Major search engines like Google evaluate your incoming links to help determine your search engine positions.
However, a link is much more than just a ranking factor. A quality inbound link can bring your website a steady stream of targeted traffíc and buyers.
In this article I will reveal the untapped methods of obtaining quality inbound links. We all know that reciprocal links are dead. Smart internet marketers also know about the power of article marketing and rss syndication. This article looks to explore beyond those techniques, unveiling linking tactics that are largely undiscovered.
Read on to find out about which links you can gain to build buzz, how to leverage the power of wikis, why everyone needs an affíliate program, and how to use the web 2.0 craze to garner hundreds of high quality inbound links.
We will begin our journey with editorial link opportunities.
The right links can generate massive buzz and word of mouth marketing. This type of marketing can occur from links like Yahoo Picks, Forbes Best of the Web, and USA Today Höt Sites. Get listed on the following sites and you’ve certainly got a wínner.
Yahoo Picks of the Day/Week
Forbes Best of the Web
USA Today Web Guide/Höt Sites
NY Public Library Best of the Web
Exploratorium Ten Cool Sites

Wikis
Wikis are some of the best sources for link building. With a bit of digging, you can find plenty of wiki pages with high link popularity and PageRank. Not to mention, many wikis rank well in the search engines. This is especially true for Wikipedia.
However, like everything, there is a wrong and right way to go about it. Many people try to sp@m wikis with hundreds of links. Because of this, there have been strict measures taken to find and eliminate these culprits.

To benefit from the Wiki community, you must be an active participant adding quality and relevant information to their collection of content. You must add value to a page. Once you have done this, you can then incorporate your link if it’s a good fit.
However, don’t just add information to pages that present linking opportunities. You should also be contributing to the wiki just for the sake of adding great content to the database. When appropriate, add quality links to articles, even links you do not control. Using this strategy, it is much more likely that you will be able to benefit from the many wikis available online.
To find potential linking opportunities, simply go to Google and type in “your keywords” inurl:wiki. This will help you to find sites that have wikis related to your keywords. For example, if you are looking for wikis related to search engine marketing, you would type in “search engine marketing” inurl:wiki.
For a comprehensive list of wikis you can start contributing to , go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_wikis.
Library Sites
Ok. Are you ready for the MacDaddy of all links? You may be surprised to hear that some of the best links on the Web can only be obtained from public shool library Web sites. Yes I know, it’s hard to believe that an unattractive school website that lives out in the .us or .org jungle would be of value to you. But in fact, these are some of the most trustworthy links you could ever hope to obtain.
Library web sites are some of the most trusted sources on the Internet and Google knows it. So, if you have an extremely valuable site that would prove a valuable resource to people around the world, then you should certainly get in contact with a librarian to suggest your site as an addition to their list of resources.
Below is a list of library sites to get you started:
Virginia Pubic Library Websites
Ohio Public Library Web Sites
Affíliate Links
Affíliate programs are one of the best ways to obtain thousands of inbound links to your site. With the right software, you can use an affíliate program to super charge your search engine rankings.
Using an affíliate program, you can get hundreds and even thousands of other people to promote your products with no rísk on your part. Your Affiliates send visitors to your web site using banner ads, text links, articles, and email promotions. For every visitor who decides to buy, you pay your affíliate a percentage of the sale.
The beauty of this system is that it allows you to create extra revenue without spending any additional advertising dollars. You can use affíliate marketing to explode your online sales and catapult your search engine rankings with no rísk to you.
However, you have to make sure you have the right software to do this. Some affilate tracking software doesn’t lend any link popularity back to your site.
Go to Assoctrac.com to find out about some very powerful affíliate software.
Press Releases
As I wrote about in a previous article, press releases enable you to tap into multiple news sites across the Internet, including Google News, Yahoo News, and MSNBC Searchbot.
In addition to attracting thousands of targeted visitors to your site, press releases can also create thousands of quality inbound links.
However, to realize the full potential of your press release campaign, you must take time to optimize your press release properly. Press releases should be optimized in much the same way that search engine optimization specialists optimize ordinary web pages to achieve higher rankings. By optimizing your press releases for the search engines, you will receive much higher visibility.
For example, one press release from MarketingExperiments.com resulted in 2,200 visitors and 5 interview requests by journalists. This is the power of a highly optimized press release.
Some of the best places to distribute your press release online include:
prweb.com
internet.com
businesswire.com
prnewswire.com
bacons.com
e-releases.com
prfree.com
pr.com
webwire.com
marketwire.com
24-7pressrelease.com
pressreleasenetwork.com
i-newswire.com
Start your own press campaign to begin creating invaluable buzz, attracting targeted visitors, and gaining thousands of inbound links.
Social Search Engines
With the growth of Web 2.0, social bookmarking services have become extremely popular this past year. However, these search engines are much more than simply a tool for searching and saving your favorite websites. These social communities can also drive massive amounts of traffíc to your site and build brand awareness.
Popular submissions can expect to receive an onslaught of traffíc. In addition, popular sites also receive an abundance of link love. These social search engines influence bloggers, publishers and journalists. On average, a website that is Dugg receives an average of 500 to a thousand new inbound links within a short period of time.
If you have a very informative site, your traffíc may increase permanently after being Dugg. The key to succeeding with social search engines is to be a true contributor to the community. You must have quality content if you want to submit any of your links. Otherwise, you are simply wasting your time.
In addition, don’t just submit your own links. Share the love and submit other sites that you feel would provide a great resource to the community.
Some of the best online social communities include:
Digg
del.icio.us
Furl
Shadows.com
MyWeb
StumbleUpon

Technorati
In today’s generation of web 2.0, publishers have been given multiple outlets for their work. It’s time that we start taking advantage of the changes occurring in the online publishing world.
Podcast Syndication
Another publishing opportuníty that is undergoing rapid growth online is podcasting. The Internet is changing. Broadband Internet connection is allowing millíons of Internet users to start downloading podcasts on every imaginable topic, from search engine strategies to the adventures of parenting.
According to Forrester Research, podcasting will reach 12.3 million households by 2010. Unfortunately, many webmasters are not taking advantage of this amazing opportuníty.
To begin marketing your own podcasts, submit them to the following directories:
PodcastingNews.com
MasterNewMedia.org
Integrating these new distribution models can vastly increase your exposure online.
New Forms of article Syndication
article syndication has become quite popular among internet marketers. It has enabled writers and website owners to gain hundreds of quality inbound links simply by syndicating their articles to article directories, article groups, related websites, and newsletter publications.
However, web 2.0 has transformed the publishing platforms that are available today. Because of this, there are now many more outlets for your articles and your valuable resource box. Fortunately for you, many online marketers have not spotted these opportunities so I advise you to jump on them quickly.
One of the most exciting new publishing platforms is Squidoo.
Squidoo was created by a revolutionary online thinker named Seth Godin. At Squidoo, you can create your very own lens, which is simply your view on a particular topic. This is a single web page that can point to blogs, favorite links, RSS feeds, Flickr photos, Google maps, eBay auctions, Amazon books and other resources.
Best of all, these lenses are getting traffíc, credibility, and even showing up in top Google results. You can use a lens to increase the number of authoritative inbound links to your site, position yourself as an industry expert, announce the latest news within your niche, or promote your podcasts.
I’ve seen lenses ranging from a pagerank of 3 to 5. Below are some great examples:
FxBootcamp : PR4
Cool Laptop Bags : PR5
To start your own lens, go to Squidoo.com.
The last linking opportuníty in this series taps into one of the largest sites on the Internet.
Craigslist
Craigslist was founded in 1995 by Craig Newmark and serves billions of unique visitors each month. So, how can you use this to your benefit?
Classified ads can be very lucrative when used correctly. Since Craigslist is free, this is a great place to start with absolutely no rísk.
Your presence within this massive site will increase your exposure and link popularity. Many of the ads also appear in Google and Yahoo. This is especially true for those who optimize their ad properly.
I would highly suggest that you incorporate CraigsList into your overall business plan. You can begin placing your own ads at CraigsList.
Now that you know about many of these untapped linking techniques, I urge you to begin your own campaign. Just remember, if you’re not distributing quality content, you are simply wasting your time. The first step is to become an authoritative site. After that, you will find that links come quite naturally. In fact, many of them will come without ever asking for them.
Did You Find This article Useful? Then Digg It.

Getting Into Google and Yahoo News
By Kim Roach (c) 2006
According to the Pew Internet & American Life Project, 50 million Americans get news online on any given day. In comparison, only 27 million Americans watch network TV news on a typical evening. The Internet is quickly becoming the preferred news source over television, magazines, and trade publications.
News web sites like Yahoo News, Google News and MSNBC Searchbot receive millions of visitors every day. If fact, Yahoo News ranks ahead of MSNBC.com and even CNN.com, while Google News ranks ahead of USAToday.com and the NYTimes.com.
Add Dynamic Talking Characters to Your Website!
You can tap into these massive traffic sources through the use of press releases. Additional benefits of distributing your press release include possible media exposure, pickup of your release in online publications, increased link popularity to your web site, additional search engine rankings on your target keywords, and increased traffic to your web site.
However, there’s much more to press release marketing than simply whipping up an article and sending it out to the world. You must take time to optimize your press release properly.
Press releases should be optimized in much the same way that search engine optimization specialists optimize ordinary web pages to achieve higher rankings. In doing so, you will receive much higher visibility.
For example, one press release from MarketingExperiments.com resulted in 2,200 visitors and 5 interview requests by journalists. This is the power of a highly optimized press release.
Listed below is an outline of how to create an optimized press release for your own website and how to distribute it for maximum exposure.
The first and most important element is to search for keywords and phrases that are likely to deliver qualified leads to your website. A good press release combines targeted keywords with creative writing that makes for a compelling read.
Build, Send & Track Email Campaigns in Minutes!
To find these lucrative keyword phrases, begin brainstorming what people would search for when looking for your products. If your products or services are targeted to a particular geographic area, you might want to include these locations in your keyword phrases as well. It is best to target up to 3 keyword phrases.
Once you have done this, you can head on over to DigitalPoint.com to do some additional keyword research. Simply type in your list of potential keyword phrases and this tool will give you a list of related keywords and how many times they are searched for per day. This information can aid you in choosing which keyword phrases will bring your press release the highest amount of exposure.
Now that you have chosen the best possible keywords, it’s time to integrate these targeted keyword phrases into your press release. You should include your keywords in the headline, the title, sub-headings and the first two paragraphs. Search engines place much of their emphasis on the title and the beginning paragraphs.
Your title should reflect your strongest keywords, not the name of the company. Include local modifiers if possible. Although it’s often nice to see your company’s name in print, it’s unlikely to bring you the exposure you deserve. Instead, use targeted search phrases that are likely to be used by your potential customers.
You should also optimize your press release by integrating targeted links within the content. Many press release distribution services and news wires now offer the option of purchasing a hyperlink. You simply convert a keyword phrase within the release into an active hyperlink. This will increase search engine visibility for that keyword phrase and also drive additional traffic back to your website.

Where to Send Your Press Release
There are a wide variety of places that will allow you to syndicate your press release. However, there are only a select few that you really need to focus on. Here are some distributors that will help you get the exposure you deserve.
PRWeb.com
Internet.com
BusinessWire.com
PRNewsWire.com
In addition to press releases, you can also get your content into Google and Yahoo news directly. If you publish frequent news and articles, your site may very well qualify as a news source.
You can submit your site for inclusion to Google News. However, keep in mind that Google is looking for sites with an editorial review process and multiple contributors. If you are accepted, Google Newsbot will hit your site very frequently and you will receive an extra stream of quality traffic to your web site.
You can also suggest your news site be added to the Yahoo News index. Simply go to Yahoo! News and fill out the form.
Besides syndicating your press releases online, you should also seek exposure offline. You do this by building a media list of local newspapers, trade journals, magazines, web sites, radio and television shows.
If you want media coverage, you must identify target publications and their editorial calendars. Send journalists and editors personal emails with pitches on your story.
You can begin building your own media list at MediaPost.com, AFR.com, and ABYZNewslinks.com.
I have one last tip on getting into Google News. To quickly get your articles into the Google News search engine simply perform a search on Google News for relevant keywords, take note of the sites that are getting picked up and find out if any of them allow you to submit articles or press releases. If so, you have found a direct pathway to getting your content into Google News.
One of these places can be found at AmericanChronicle.com. Simply visit the site and scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on the link that says “submit work”. From there you can sign up to be a contributor.
If accepted as a contributor, you will then be able to submit articles along with your picture. Many of their articles are syndicated on Google News and are available to the millions of searchers who go to Google News each and every day.
Now that you know how to optimize your press releases and articles for maximum exposure, I urge you to begin an aggressive press campaign to increase exposure to your brand, gain quality inbound links, and increase your website traffic.

10 Tips for SEO Copywriting
Have you ever wondered if what you know about seo Copywriting is accurate? Consider the following paragraphs and compare what you know to the latest info on seo Copywriting.
seo Copywriting is a skill. For most people it’s really something you learn over time by doing it, paying close
attention to what your competitors are doing and reading up on how to write copy for websites, blogs, press releases and articles.
There are some simple rules that will help the beginning seo copywriter and keepthe experienced “know-it-all” like myself grounded!
First let’s start by really defining seo copywriting.
seo copywriting is the art and science of combining three elements:
(1) Valuable Content: providing the reader with content that affords them the opportunity to learn, experience or clarify a product, service, position or opinion. Key factors in creating “value” in your content include organization, a high level of detail, a birds-eye view, reader perspective, usability and specific calls to action.
Your content must provide the reader with “news you can use” if you will. The overall reader experience must take into account a variety of different levels of knowledge/proficiency with the topic. Here’s where defining and organizing your thoughts come in. Start with a bird’s eye view of the Who, What, Where, When,
Why and How, then expand into greater detail on a point by point or step by step basis.
(2) Readability: The user must be able to understand what the heck you are talking about. A good rule of thumb is to write for the reader first, then make a second and third pass for the search engines.
(3) Structure and Formatting: Search Engines are becoming smarter about assessing the “value” of your content, but they still rely on a variety of distinguishable factors which are outlined below. There is no hard and fast rule for any of these tips. Use them all “sparingly” and remember #1 and 2 above.
10 seo Copywriting Tips
(1) Use Bold, and Italics: Just like a regular old human reader the search engines give more weight to words and phrases that are in bold or italics. Just don’t go too crazy or you’ll irritate the search engines and give your reader a headache (unless you’re selling aspirin, but that’s a different article on subliminal copywriting!).
(2) Internal Hyperlinks: You are your own best resource, so use and to a certain extent abuse yourself. Hyperlink to other resources/pages of your site which are relevant to the copy you are writing. This will benefit the reader, increase the amount of time they spend on your site and help you with the search
engines. Don’t forget your ALT tags.
How can you put a limit on learning more? The next section may contain that one little bit of wisdom that changes everything.
(3) External Hyperlinks: Incorporating links to external resources which will benefit the reader can help you in two ways (a) they provide a third-party validation to a certain extent of your “expertise” and (b) afford you the opportunity to pick up some extra coin if that resource provides reciprocal linking or has an Affiliate program.
(4) Use Bullet Points: Using a bullet point or numbered system helps break up your copy into consumable pieces, aids in the clean design of your page and makes it easy for the reader to “go back” and reference previous points without wasting time reading through dense copy.
(5) Content “Mass”: Never have less than 400 words on a page. If the content you are providing is in fact valuable you should be able to come up with aroundt 1,000 words.
(6) Use Examples to beef up your content with relevant keywords.
(See #8).
(7) Keyword Density: I like to try for 7% density for no more than 4 sets of keywords or phrases per page. Segway to #8.
(8) Break your keyword sets/phrases into tiers or alternates to enable a better flow while maximizing density and penetration (based upon Yahoo!’s Keyword Selector Tool, WordTracker, WebCEO
or a like keyword recommendation program).:
Example: Target: seo Copywriting Tier 1: seo Copywriting Tier 2:
seo Copywriter Tier 3: Writing copy for seo Tier 4: seo
copywriting services
Example Sentence: “Instead of spending time evaluating seo copywriting Services become a seo copywriter yourself by following these guidelines and you’ll be writing copy for seo in no time.”
(9) Write for what the reader is searching for, not what you think they should be searching for. Remember that your job is to provide the “solution” to the problem, not create a greater problem by making the reader/searcher feel dumb. If they are searching for Ham and Green Eggs instead of Green Eggs and Ham,
give them Ham and Green Eggs - “The Searcher is Always Right” to paraphrase a service industry mantra.

The Blog Factor: Everything you need to know to start blogging - today!
You should be able to find several indispensable facts about Blogging in the following paragraphs. If there’s at least one fact you didn’t know before, imagine the difference it might make.
If you can get into a good blog that’s seeing a lot of traffic, you can really start to gain some exposure for your book.
So what is this “blog factor”? Well, what a few thought was a novel idea some years ago has now morphed into something no one expected. There are currently nine million blogs out there with 40,000 new ones being added everyday. Some are informative and some are just downright a waste of your time. And while we hear a lot about blogging these days, what is blogging *really*? Blogging in its simplest term is like an online journal but much, much more powerful. Blogs (short for Web log) is a place where surfers can get up to the minute information on a topic or voyeur into someone’s life. Some blogs are nothing more than a daily glimpse into someone’s life, while others are so sophisticated, it’s hard to tell them apart from an online news service.
Why Blogs Matter
Google, the #1 search engine on the net, loves blogs. So much so that if you do it right Google will spider the heck out of your site. What does it mean to “spider”? Well spidering is when Google, or the like, searches your site’s content to establish ranking, and the more content you have (i.e. fresh content) the more Google will do its magic and push your site up the search engine. Another reason blogs matter is that they are interactive and, if you blog on your book’s topic, it will help to further your expert status on a particular issue. When we plan “Virtual Tours” for our authors, we include as many blogs as we can into a tour. Why? Because if you can get into a good blog that’s seeing a lot of traffic, you can really start to gain some exposure for your book.
What Would You Talk About?
This is the question we get asked most often. “If I start a blog, what on earth would I talk about?” Well if your book is non-fiction it’s pretty easy to figure out what your topic would be, but if your book is fiction it could get a bit tricky - but not impossible. An author I work with has a series of books starring one character - a private detective. I recommended that he “blog” this character, meaning that the character (not the author) would have the blog. It could be the character’s diary or adventures and stories - a glimpse into the life of a private detective. This would give the reader (and fans of this character) a reason to return to the blog for an update on this ongoing adventure or story.
In another instance, I work with an author who wrote a fiction book about right and wrong with a new age/spirituality spin. I advised him to blog on issues related to that - right and wrong in our society and his own personal “spin” on these issues. Some of his blogs might be controversial but that’s okay, you want to create your own “voice,” your own take on a certain issue and if that opinion is controversial, all the better for exposure and for getting people to interact on your blog. Getting readers to respond to your posts is a great way to gain interest and momentum for your blog and (more importantly) getting people to talk about it will grow your blog like nothing else!
So far, we’ve uncovered some interesting facts about Blogging. You may decide that the following information is even more interesting.
How to Start a Blog
Starting a blog is super easy. All you have to do is register at a blog site (like http://www.blogger.com) and get started. It’s that easy. The blog service will link to your site; you’ll need to ask your Webmaster to add a button to your home page so people can find your blog.
How to Blog Effectively
The best bloggers know that the more you add to your blog, the more traffic you’ll drive there. Some bloggers I know post daily, sometimes even multiple times a day while others post weekly. How much you post will probably depend on how much time you have to dedicate to this. The challenge will be that if you want to keep driving people to your blog, you’ll want fresh content. This doesn’t mean you have to create this all yourself, in fact you can invite people onto your blog and interview them, or you can just post a one paragraph “thought” on your topic. It doesn’t have to be complicated or long, it just has to be fresh. Also be innovative, as we discussed earlier, be different with your blog, have fun with it. It might seem complicated at first but once you get the hang of it, you’ll quickly become a blog expert!

Niche Blogs and WHY They Make Such An Excellent Affiliate Marketing Tool
The following article covers a topic that has recently moved to center stage–at least it seems that way. If you’ve been thinking you need to know more about it, here’s your opportunity.
Blogs or more specifically… Niche Blogs are simply blogs that are topic focused and target a specific market and/or niche.
More importantly though, these blogs contain targeted information that their target market is searching for.
This is KEY.
As an Affiliate marketer we are always told that information, whether its an article, review, ebook, ecourse, report, mp3 or pod cast, is a key Pre-Selling tool before your potential customer decides to buy what it is that your offering.
This is where Niche Blogs come into play because of there many capabilities and functions.
The biggest advantage Blogs have is they give you the ability to syndicate your content and/or information through a technology called RSS(Real Simple Syndication).
The types of content you are able to syndicate are as follows:
- articles
- Product Reviews
- eBooks
- eCourses
- Special Reports
- Mp3 Files
- Steaming Video(A.K.A Pod Casting)
Are you starting to see the advantages to blogs or more importantly, having a network of Affiliate Niche Blogs?
I hope so.
How can you put a limit on learning more? The next section may contain that one little bit of wisdom that changes everything.
Also, with your blog comes an RSS Feed that your potential visitors can subscribe to.
Whats this mean for you?
Simple. When ever you post to your Affiliate Niche Blog or network of Niche Blogs guess who will INSTANTLY receives that post?
That’s right, who ever subscribes to your RSS Feed.
Are you starting to see the many benefits of having a Niche Blog and incorporating it into your Affiliate marketing mix?
Only you can answer that.
Another great thing about Blogs in general is that search engines love them and everytime you post to your Niche Blog it “Pings” the search engines and other RSS Directories you’ve submitted to letting them know that there’s new fresh content for them to come and index.
The more you post, the more pages that will be produced, which means… more for the search engines to index, which means… more traffic to your Niche Blog.
The best way to take advantage of your new source of traffic and maximize your Niche Blog profits is to modify your blog template and add Google Adsense and your Affiliate programs marketing materials to it.
By doing this, everytime you post to your Niche Blog your marketing message will always be there and Google Adsense will display targeted ads related to your content.
Now, I can’t go into alot of detail on how to modify blog templates in this article simply because that’s an article within itself and then some.
What I can do is show you one that I just put together as an example.
http://www.internetwondersezine.com/internet-joint-venture/
All I really wanted to get across to you is the advantages to having your own Niche Blog as part of your Affiliate marketing mix to help market your Affiliate programs to your target audience.
Blogs are here to stay so we might as well take advantage of them in any way that we can.

5 TOP Places Your Guaranteed To Find Joint Venture Partners
Current info about Joint Ventures is not always the easiest thing to locate. Fortunately, this report includes the latest Joint Ventures info available.
Joint Ventures are one of the MOST powerful forms of leverage and are the quickest way to get your online business infront of your target audience and in profit by simply using others peoples web assets(ex. Opt-In Lists, High Traffic Website, etc.) for a cut of the $Profits$.
And the great thing about Joint Ventures is it doesn’t matter what niche targeting because the web has an abundance of willing Joint Venture Partners waiting to be found and hit with a JV offer.
The only problem most people run into when it comes to putting a Joint Venture together is where to find these Joint Venture Partners.
The ‘Internet’ is a BIG place with millions of websites and more being added on a daily basis which makes finding Joint Venture Partners for some quite intimidating and time consuming.
Well, today your in luck because I’m going to share with you “5 TOP Places Your Guaranteed To Find Joint Venture Partners” no matter what niche your targeting.
So, with that said, lets go to first place your guaranteed to find thousands of Joint Venture Partners by simply using your “Targeted Keywords”.
Web Location #1. The all mighty and powerful Search Engines.
That’s right, the Search Engines are the first place you’ll want to search for Joint Venture Partners simply because there are literally thousands of them waiting to be contacted by you with your offer.
All you have to do is enter your “Targeted Keywords” into the search form your favorite search engine provides and start going through the results they list.
Obviously the first page of results will be a great start for you.
From there simply start clicking on the links within the results to see if that particular website would make a suitable JV partner.
If so, find their contact info and shoot them a email with your “What’s in it for them” offer.
Web Location #2. Forums are the next stop.
Forums are another great place to find and locate Joint Venture Partners simply because thousands of people go to these forums everyday posting questions, looking for answers, etc.
There are forums on any topic under the sun so you shouldn’t have a problem finding a few hundred of them related to your niche.
Here’s a quick way for you to use to find them through the search engines.
Go to your favorite search engine and type this into the search form provided:
example: forums + “your target keyword”
That’s it. This will save you tons of time, where as, if you were to type just “forums” you would literally get thousands of unrelated results leaving you frustrated.
Web Location #3. Lets stop by some Newsletter Directories.
Why “Newsletter Directories”?
So far, we’ve uncovered some interesting facts about Joint Ventures. You may decide that the following information is even more interesting.
The answers simple. This is where you will find all the newsletter owners with Opt-In lists with thousands of subscribers waiting to read your offer and buy your products and/or services.
You will find newsletter owners that target ANY niche you are looking to do a Joint Venture with and at the same time all their contact information.
To find these directories simply go to your favorite search engine and type “newsletter directories” in the search form.
Web Location #4. Joint Venture membership sites.
This location is pretty self explanatory but I’ll explain away.
Joint Venture membership sites are sites where people go and join, either for free or paid subscription, so they can find JV partners all from one location.
They are popping up all over the place now because of the popularity of Joint Venture Marketing and it just makes sense for someone seeking Joint Venture Partners to have to only go to one place to find them all, no matter what your selling, instead of searching the web for hours.
Simply go to your favorite search engine and type “joint venture membership sites” into the search form.
Web Location #5. Use Clickbank.com’s database.
This is the last place I have on my list and for good reason.
Clickbank.com has the largest directory on the Internet full of digital niche products that offer Affiliate programs.
Why am I telling you this?
I’m telling you this because this is a great place to locate Joint Venture Partners through the TOP Affiliate programs in the categories within their database.
(Quick TIP: Only focus on the first 20 results under each category or whatever category your product or service falls under.)
All you have to do is pick a product that relates to what you have to offer, get their main URL, then go to your favorite search engine once again and type this into the search form:
link:http:www.click-bank- Affiliate-main-URL.com
By entering this into the search form it will give you all the links that point back to that Clickbank product revealing some great potential Joint Venture Partners for you to contact with your offer.
Well, I hope these 5 web locations opened up your eye’s on how to locate potential Joint Venture Partners via the Internet, no matter what your selling.
The only thing left for you now is to start your search because it only takes a few to get the ball roll’en.

Webhosts - Bad News
My webhost, Mesopia (later bought by Netbunch) has been recently bought by webhostplus.com
This is the worst piece of news I have received today.
Thanks to the morons at webhostplus, I have lost all my data, some of my profits, and massive amounts of traffic. Thank you very much, guys!
All my data stored on their servers has been completely lost. Eventually, I have switched to another webhost. All I wanted from them was my lost data back. They didn’t reply my e-mails at all and when I called them up, they gave me evasive answers and they kept asking me for my phone number and name, promising they would call me to let me know when I could have my data. They never called.
I hate them, and I hate the fact that I have to migrate. It will take me at least an entire afternoon
. But I will definitely do it, as I cannot trust them after what they did to me, no matter what.

Building Valuable Web Content… Fast
By now most everyone who runs a website is aware that content is king. Whether it is in the form of photos, products, blog entries or articles webmasters are obsessed with adding content to their sites. It isn’t always easy to do. There is a fine balance between pleasing the search engine to get high rankings and pleasing the visitors to your site, and lets face it visitors are the priority since they are the ones with the wallet.
Lately the search engines have been giving better placement in their rankings to sites that are loaded with good informational articles, articles that are well written with no spelling or punctuation errors. Remember the search engines sole purpose is to give the most relevant results to a search query.
So to create this content you have several options, all with their advantages and disadvantages. The best method but most time consuming is to simply write the articles yourself. You can also go to a free article directory site like article city and use the articles there for free. Hiring a writer at rentacoder is a great option but the cost of getting good articles is quite high. Another option is to join a private label article site and use those articles on your site.
Let’s take a look at the 4 most common methods described above and see which is right for you. There is no question that writing articles yourself is the best method of creating great content. Content that is original and written in your own voice. However if you are like me it is far to time consuming to write 40 or 50 article a month, with the research and proof reading who has the time?
article directories are a convenient source of free content but remember you get what you pay for. It is possible to find very well written articles on these sites but most of the time you will only find one article on each topic which makes it hard if you operate a niche web site. Since these are free articles you are required to include an author’s bio with every article that you publish. It may seem like a small price to pay but remember this; that bio is a doorway straight out of your website. So as you can see free is not always the best.
A very good way to build content for your site is to hire a writer at sites like rentacoder or elance. You can get very well written articles that are right on topic and exactly what you are looking for, after all you are hiring the writer to write them for you. This is a great way to leverage you time as well you spend a fraction of the time it takes to write the articles yourself. The only downside is the cost. You can hire a writer for as low as $5 per article all the way up to several hundred dollars per article. This can get very expensive if you need to have a lot of content written for your site. Month after month a webmaster can spend thousands of dollars. For most, this cost simply is prohibitive.
Joining a private label right (PLR) membership site is the best of both worlds. You get great content that is targeted towards niche websites at a price that is very affordable, often for less then $1 per article. Private label right membership sites produce article packages that you are free to do with as you please. You can re-write the articles cut or copy paragraphs together to create new articles and at the end you can call them your own work. PLR sites usually limit their membership to a couple hundred members to prevent the search engines from being saturated with the same content. With all the variation in the way these articles are being used it is unlikely that you will have much competition. After all people are manipulating the articles to create original content.
Having the edge when is comes to the search engine rankings can bring you tons of free traffic. It is well accepted that articles not only please the search engine but also the visitors to your website. As you can see there are many ways to get great articles some are far better then others.

Inside Information: How To Profit By Sharing Your Expertise
Sharing inside information can boost your sales. It can make your business much more profitable too, since valuable information can be supplied at very little cost.
Quality, timely, relevant, and important information helps prospects and customers make intelligent decisions. The right information makes it a whole lot easier to choose with confidence. Providing additional ideas, advice, insights and resources is a great way to distinguish your product – and your company — from competitors.
What inside information of value can you provide to help your customers and prospects?
Helpful tips, inside secrets, and other creative ideas help to establish your expertise in the marketplace. When you give away this kind of inside information, you create tremendous value that’s appreciated by customers. These people feel compelled to show their gratitude by continuing to buy from you, time and time again.
Offering valuable inside information is easier than you may think. Simply look at each product you supply and figure out what collateral information prospects would like to know.
In other words, if you were a salesperson standing in front of your prospect, what additional information of interest could you offer her?
To sell a solid cherry dining room suite from a showroom floor, you’d want to explain the exquisite finish and how to preserve that “new” look. You would point out the quality joinery used to secure the frame to the table legs. You might even open a china cabinet drawer to demonstrate the built-in quality, smooth-running hardware and fine craftsmanship that went into it. It’s all inside information.
These are precious details that help educate potential buyers. It’s information that might otherwise go unnoticed… yet it could be the kind of detail that just might clinch the sale. Pointing out all this inside information helps buyers feel good about the true value of their purchase. It’s something they could have easily missed, had it not been brought to their attention.
This kind of detailed inside information is of interest to potential customers and it’s something that could easily be incorporated into a free brochure, booklet, report or videotape. It also adds perceived value to the product itself by establishing an exclusive “story” behind it. Don’t just give them sales talk of hard-sell sales copy. Give them the facts – good, solid, inside information about what it is makes your product a better buy.
Here are some additional examples of using inside information to inform and educate prospects – and increase sales as a result:
A hardware store could offer a free booklet called “How To Refinish Old Furniture Like A Restoration Pro” to all buyers of furniture repair and refinishing items. This added value item — offered exclusively — should help boost sales of refinishing supplies. It’s inside information that could only be provided by someone who has done it before.
A travel agent could offer personalized commentary on popular destinations in article format. “The 10 Must-See Spots In Las Vegas”…. “The Top 7 Hottest Clubs In Nassau That Only The Locals Know About”… or, “11 Spectacular Sites Of Costa Rica You’ve Just Got To See At Least Once In Your Lifetime” might be great topics for niche market vacationers. If you fit the market profile and were planning a trip, wouldn’t you at least be curious about this promising inside information?
If you plan to give your information away freely, prepare it as you would a salable product. Don’t scrimp on quality in terms of both content and appearance. When an information product “looks” like something of value – it is. When you offer your report or booklet free with purchase, it’s much more likely to act as an incentive to the sale.
